Social Programme Manager
You will oversee a diverse team of internal staff and extended community of external partners and service providers in a dynamic and evolving role, ensuring that our social programmes which support beneficiaries from at-risk and marginalised backgrounds with complex support needs are effective, within budget, meet aims and objectives and produce outcomes according to internal and externally set key performance indicators.
You will also set the stage for future social initiatives and sustainable social impact through funding and partnership procurement, partnership relationship management, programme design and staff development, while turning data-driven and innovative ideas into concrete plans.
We're looking for someone who excels at the following:
Ensuring social programmes are executed well and meet key performance objectives
Directing and assisting the activities of internal and external professionals to support best practice
Assisting with any other duties or special projects that are covered by the general scope of the role
Establishing and fostering relationships with partners across multiple sectors
Identifying and securing opportunities to increase the range, depth and/or breadth of our social impact
Tracking, monitoring, analysis and reporting of programme performance and social impact
Utilising quantitative and qualitative data to inform social programme development opportunities
YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
Qualifications & Training
Professional qualification relating to education, social work or youth work
Degree or higher
(EQ) Emotional intelligence training/certification (Preferably by Six Seconds Emotional Intelligence Network) (Desirable but not essential)
Minimum 5 years experience in a clinical, social service, education, training, management or executive role
Achieving KPIs in a programme or service context
Preparing and delivering written and verbal reports
Leading or managing a team
Developing successful relationships and effective partnership management across various sectors
Supporting groups and individuals from a diverse range of support needs and demographics
Supporting clients with needs such as: (Desirable but not essential)
- Mental or physical illness
- Low income or educational attainment
- Victims of abuse or neglect
- Substance abuse
- Special educational needs
Facilitating programmes, workshops or training (Desirable but not essential)
Delivering income growth through identification of funding and income generation opportunities and the submission of successful tenders (Desirable but not essential)
Skills & Knowledge
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead & motivate others
Assessing risks and viability of options to solve problems and make high-quality decisions
Able to maintain accurate and efficient record keeping systems
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise work, handle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
Experienced in dealing with challenging behaviour
Able to develop ideas and data into concrete plans and actions
Strong links with social service agencies, training providers and/or F&B establishments islandwide (Desirable but not essential)
Good knowledge of existing laws, policies and code of ethics in a local context (Desirable but not essential)
Confident, self-initiating, committed, enthusiastic, assertive, compassionate, strategic, professional and driven
Passionate about empowering at-risk and disadvantaged populations
